West of Pafos, just off the new highway, close to the golf courses of Aphrodite and Secret Valley and near the air port. A very old village steeped in history and myth.
North of Pafos about 5 km, over looking the sea being set on the hill and an excellent location being close to the town and above the humidity line, very important in Pafos.
Ayia Varvara and Anarita
West of Pafos and both village are close together. Set in beautiful countryside surroundings, close to the town, beach, mountains and the air port.
About 20 minutes drive northeast of Pafos with the most stunning huge rock over looking the village. I am not sure how high the rock is but it must be around 40 meters and it sheer presence is jaw-dropping. We like the village, full of character and typically restored Paphos village houses.
Fyti and Simou
Two excellent villages, set over looking the dam of Evretou. From Simou, there are excellent sea views to Polis Chrysochou Bay being 500 meters above sea level with no a little humidity and glorious views over Evretou dam. The village has one supermarket, one restaurant, a nursery and several coffee shops. Fyti village has great character with many stone built traditional Cyprus village houses. About 20 km from Polis with several excellent restaurants, a weaving and folklore Museum and the whole village is steeped in history.
Letymbou and Koili
Set on the road out of Pahos going towards Polis, both villages are well worth a visit. Letymbou is about 12km from Paphos and Kili is about 9 km from Pafos. Koili is set on a hill with stunning views to Paphos town and the sea. Only one restaurant, one supermarket and two coffee shops with a population of around 500 people - 25 being expatriates. Letymbou has a population of around 300, great countryside views, one restaurant, several coffee shops, a small mini-market and several 15th century churches well worth a visit.
